PIYC vacancies are available to adults who have or are eligible for NDIS Supported Independent Living funding. Currently, we have 2 vacancies at our Modern home in Merrylands. This vacancy is best suited for females aged 40 - 65 years old.

Housemates

  • All residents are female.
  • The current resident is 58 years of age, speaks English, and has no manual handling. She currently is funded for drop-in support in the mornings and afternoons.
  • Each participant has their own network, interests, and activities that they pursue with the support of Staff.
  • There are opportunities for residents to socialise and engage in special events and/or in the community if they choose to.

The house is located in Merrylands, a short 5-minute drive to Merrylands shopping center and a ten-minute walk to a small shopping strip and IGA.

It is less than 5 minutes via car to Merrylands Oval where local sporting groups play and small events are held.

Our staff provides 24/7 support staff, including sleepover night support. Our staff is committed to providing house members with a high level of support to develop and build life skills. This includes personal care, shopping, cooking, maintaining the living environment, and social skills. We support our participants in the community and attend to any outings our appointments within their schedules.
