Onsite overnight and daily living supports will be provided by Life Without Barriers, and residents will require appropriate NDIS funding for these services. Each resident can choose their preferred provider for community participation and other funded services.
Factors to consider when applying
Life Without Barriers will conduct a screening and suitability assessment to ensure housemates are compatible.
You are aged 18 years or over.
You are eligible for, and able to secure, an appropriate level of NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) funding.
You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) a service and accommodation agreement.

Under agreement with the Northern Territory Government, Life Without Barriers is the Registered SDA Provider for these dwellings. We also provide the in-home supports. Reflecting the principles of separation of housing and supports, Life Without Barriers’ National Disability Housing Unit, a separate unit within the organisation established to manage other SDA properties across the country, will act as the SDA Provider.
