This newly completed SDA home has been purpose-built under the High Physical Support design category and designed to prioritise independence rather than shared living. The property is configured as two independent living environments on one title, allowing participants to live separately while still receiving the level of support they need.

Each side of the home functions as its own living environment, with a private bedroom, accessible ensuite, living space, and direct access. This separation allows participants to maintain privacy and autonomy while reducing noise, conflict, and overstimulation that can happen in shared homes.

A dedicated OOA room is positioned so overnight support can remain nearby while still protecting the privacy of both participants. The layout has been designed to make day-to-day support easier while still allowing each resident to feel like they are living in their own home rather than in a shared facility.

The home has been purpose-built to meet the High Physical Support SDA design requirements and has been assessed and certified accordingly. The single-level layout, accessible bathrooms, clear circulation spaces, and assistive-technology-ready design support long-term independence and make daily routines easier.
