- The following design features have been included in all three units in accordance with the seven Universal Design Principals:
- maximise use of natural light to increase sunlight, especially in living areas, through the winter months,
- double glazed windows and installation of efficient heating and cooling systems
- Centralised green spaces: courtyards provide good natural light
- Secondary living area: this space can also act as a secondary entrance
- Bedrooms with garden views: all bedrooms have an outlook to green space
- Adaptable OOA space: private entry with external desk and shared bathrooms for staff and guests
