At the heart of our Supported Independent Living model is the belief that every tenant deserves autonomy and comfort in their home environment. That’s why tenants are actively involved in the selection of potential housemates. Here’s how the process works: De-identified Summary Shared When a new participant expresses interest in joining the home, current tenants receive a de-identified profile outlining key details—such as interests, routines, and support needs without revealing personal identifiers. Meet & Greet Arranged If tenants feel the potential housemate could be a good fit, a casual meet and greet is organized. This allows everyone to interact, ask questions, and get a feel for compatibility in a relaxed setting. Tenant Feedback & Final Decision After the meeting, tenants are invited to share their thoughts. Their feedback plays a central role in the final decision, ensuring that any new addition to the home aligns with the existing dynamic and values.
