In the instance, where are a potential new tenant is filling a vacancy in a dwelling, which already holds a tenant; the tenant will always be involved in discussions about new tenants. These discussions will be in the language, mode of communication and terms which the tenant is most likely to understand. When filling vacancies, potential tenants will complete a tenant referral form. New Dawn Housing will choose the new tenant, with discussions if applicable from the current tenant, SIL Provider and Support Coordinator. Compatibility with the current tenant will be a priority to ensure a smooth transition into their new home.
