When a vacancy becomes available in a shared home, we involve the existing participant in the matching process in a way that feels comfortable, respectful and easy for them to understand. Potential new tenants complete a referral process, and Carelink works closely with the current participant, their Support Coordinator and the SIL provider (if applicable) to ensure the right fit. Compatibility, communication style and support needs are carefully considered to create a safe, stable and positive living environment for everyone.
