Our lovely new respite facility is located opposite a leafy park, within walking distance to Oakleigh Central, Eaton Mall, Oakleigh Train Station, local shops, cafes, restaurants, parks, a medical center and the Oakleigh Sunday Market, offering a welcoming community and convenient lifestyle.

Everything is brand new - full interior renovation, new heating/cooling, new furniture, new appliances, new linen.

NDIS Short-Term Respite (previously known as Short-Term Accommodation) funds temporary out-of-home care for up to 14 days at a time, generally up to 28 days per year (exceptions can apply - check with your Support Coordinator / planner), to give participants and their informal carers a break. Bookings are made on an as-requested basis.

The NDIS daily STR rate covers accommodation, meals, facility operating costs, and Support Worker costs. Support Workers are rostered based on client's own funding, such as 1: 4, 1: 3, 1: 2 or 1: 1 supports, including either sleepover shifts or active night supports.

The service is equipped to operate 365 days per year on days we have client bookings - clients book the dates they wish to stay.

Support Workers are rostered based on client preferences and support needs.
