Support Model
Active overnight support
- This house provides 24/7 support, including active night support.
- Staff supporting individuals within this service have skills and competencies in Autism, Ageing, Positive Behaviour Support, Epilepsy Management, Allergy Management, Sensory Management, Mental Health and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
- Access to a fully maintained modified vehicle, for transport within a 30km radius of the house. Annual fee applies.
Who you'd live with
Housemates
- Must have or be eligible for NDIS Supported Independent Living funding.
- Is seeking active night support.
- Current housemates include women and men.
- Housemates are aged 45–70.
- All housemates are verbal.
- Each of the current housemates attend community participation programs.
- Each housemate has their own network, interests and activities that they pursue individually with the support of staff.
- There is a lot of social interaction between the housemates, they are outgoing and fun.
- Staff take a Person Centred Active Support (PCAS) approach in their daily living and household activities.
- There are no restrictive practices in place at this house.
