Housemates
Current participant is a 31-year-old Indigenous male from Ilparpa (Alice Springs). He has a physical disability. The participant is an extremely social and active member of the community, spending 5 days of the week at his chosen day program in addition to various social and recreational outings on the weekend. He enjoys the company of others and being engaged and included in activities taking place around him. When he is at home, he enjoys having time in his own space and being in a calm environment. The participant values family, friends, country, and culture. This vacancy would suit a person who enjoys the company of others, arts, social outings, nature, and music. A person with significant behaviours of concern would not be a suitable match. As part of our practice at Somerville we are happy to facilitate any opportunities for meet and greets and home visits for any potential referrals in Alice Springs.
