The property is staffed by a highly trained team of frontline employees, many of whom have been at the site for quite some time. The team takes a person-centred approach in assisting housemates with their daily, independent living.
- Staff supporting individuals within this service have skills and competencies in: Diabetes, Medication Administration, Positive Behaviour Support, Trauma, Mental Health, Sensory Management and PCAS.
- 24/7 support, including active night support.
- Access to a fully maintained modified vehicle with a wheelchair hoist, for transport within a 30km radius of the house (annual fee applies).

Housemates
The home would be a good fit for a mature person who enjoys a calm environment.
- Has or is eligible for NDIS Supported Independent Living funding or Disability Support for Older Australians (DSOA) funding.
- Requires basic, or above, Specialist Disability Accommodation funding.
- Wants active night support.
The housemates are friendly and mature and enjoy a quiet, serene environment.
- Current housemates include women and men.
- Housemates are aged in their 50’s.
- The housemates are verbal and non-verbal, with one person communicating using gestures.
- Each of the current housemates attends local community participation programs.
- Housemates have their own networks, interests and activities that they pursue with the support of staff.
- There are opportunities for housemates to socialise and engage in special events in the house and/or in the community if they choose to.
- Staff take a Person Centred Active Support (PCAS) approach to ensure housemates are involved in their daily living and household activities.
- There are authorised restrictive practices at this house as some housemates require additional support to stay safe.
