Located in the suburb of Lovely Banks in Geelong, Riverside Community House sits on a large block in a quiet residential street close to public transport, shops and cafes.
The house is warm and welcoming and encourages clients to join in with social, leisure, sporting, educational and community activities. The home is specially designed for individual care and support for people with a range of disabilities, particularly acquired brain injuries, neurodegenerative disorders and complex cases. Clients can choose from short, medium and long-term accommodation.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is funded through the NDIS. SIL includes:
High intensity and standard supports
Assistance with daily personal activities showering, dressing, medication
Assistance with household tasks - cleaning, cooking, laundry
Social and community activities shopping, medical appointments
Our experienced team take pride in what they do and are truly passionate about supporting clients to live life on their own terms. We hand pick staff to match the needs of each client and our team are trained to support complex needs. They receive ongoing training and coaching, and all have current NDIS worker clearances.
