How we'll support daily life
Support setup, Staff, and Certifications
Shared living - You live with a few other people with disability in a shared, or modern-day group home, with your own bedroom, shared living spaces, and support available as part of everyday life. Support workers are available across the day and often overnight.
On-site shared support (24/7) - You live in your own home or apartment, with support available in the building day and night. Support is shared, so you can have your own space and privacy, with a disability support worker available when you need them.
Our skills and experience
Our highly trained team supports people with a wide range of needs, including more complex health support requirements such as High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA).
They are trained in safe transfers and mobility support, personal care, medication administration, mealtime management, assistive technology and equipment such as hoists where needed, and implementing positive behaviour support (PBS) and in allied health plans.
We support people with different levels of need, from day-to-day support through to more coordinated support involving families, allied health professionals and support coordinators.
Who you'd live with
Housemates
The current housemates are mixed gender, aged 47–51, and have lived together for over 35 years, creating a stable, respectful, and close-knit household.
Residents are very active, sociable, and community focused, attending day and community programs with external providers. All housemates demonstrate strong independence skills and value an environment where active, person centered support is available to help them live life to the fullest.
