Shared Supports
In-home supports will be delivered by Life Without Barriers, including overnight supports. We will work with you to develop a support plan around your individual needs, goals, and budget.
When fully occupied you will share this home with three other residents. Depending on your requirements, this provides opportunities to share some or all of your supports with your housemates, maximising value for money in your NDIS Plan.
Life Without Barriers can also provide supports for you in the community, or you can choose your own provider.
Who you'd live with
Housemates
Join two friendly, male residents, one in his 20's and one in his 50's, who value a peaceful and welcoming lifestyle. Enjoy movie nights, football games, and the company of a playful cat and some happy chickens. The residents enjoy going for evening drives, sitting in the park, and feeding birds. They also appreciate nature walks, often taking strolls along the beach or exploring bushwalks.

This property is located in Port Augusta West, within comfortable walking distance of the West Side shopping area and close to the quiet waters of Spencer Gulf. Residents can enjoy nearby swimming beaches, walking trails, foreshore areas and other recreational spaces, including Chinnery Park and the West Side Foreshore. The Central Oval precinct is also within easy reach, offering Braddock Park, sporting facilities, courts and open areas for community recreation.
Everyday amenities are conveniently located nearby, with a supermarket, medical practice, hospital and bus stop all within minutes of the property. Shopping is available at Wharflands Plaza, including Woolworths, as well as Carlton Plaza, Coles and Foodland. Port Augusta’s local Route 1072 bus service stops close by on Chinnery Street and provides connections to shopping, medical services and the town centre. Convenient road access to the Stuart, Eyre and Augusta Highways also supports travel throughout Port Augusta and the wider region, while the Wadlata Outback Centre and Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden are nearby attractions.
