This newly constructed High Physical Support home has been purpose-designed for participants with complex care needs who require accessible, barrier-free living. The design prioritises functional independence within a fully compliant, professionally managed residential environment.

The home features three private participant bedrooms, each with dedicated ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. This separation ensures privacy and dignity while allowing support workers to deliver care efficiently without disrupting shared living spaces. The floor plan supports safe mobility and equipment access throughout, with 1200 mm clear corridors, step-free transitions, and specialist wet area design including hobless showers and accessible height-adjustable kitchen and laundry facilities.

Universal design principles are embedded throughout, not retrofitted. Accessible door widths, lever-style handles positioned at consistent heights, dimmable lighting in living areas and bedrooms, and slip-resistant flooring create an environment that feels purposeful rather than clinical. Power and control cabling has been pre-installed for future window blind automation and ceiling hoist systems across all participant bedrooms.

A dedicated carer room provides space for overnight on-call support, keeping assistance nearby while maintaining clear separation from participant spaces. The large open-plan living and dining area accommodates flexible support delivery and social engagement. Additional craft and media spaces add variety to daily activity options.

Kitchen and laundry design meet SDA accessibility standards with height-adjustable benchtops, lever tapware, and strategic equipment placement that enables both participant engagement and efficient support workflows. Bathroom facilities are fully compliant with accessible WC pan positioning, graded shower floors, and reinforced walls for grab rail installation.

Emergency power solutions are installed to maintain critical functionality during outages. Reverse cycle air conditioning with zoned heating and cooling supports environmental control. High-speed internet and communication systems enable connection and support coordination.
