Set on the banks on the South Esk River in a relaxing rural setting, Eskleigh Home is a large residential facility (Legacy SDA Stock) which has provided care to people with disability since 1947. Eskleigh Home currently has 35 residents from diverse backgrounds and varying age profiles. Support workers and nurses staff the facility 24 hours a day and are well experienced with providing care to people with a range of disabilities and chronic health conditions. The facility has a commercial grade kitchen and meals are provided daily (inline with the resident's requirements). Laundry services are provided onsite and Eskleigh's transport fleet (buses and vans) are located on site for transport to social and specialist appointments. Each resident has their own private room and close proximity to shared bathrooms. Leisure and lifestyle programs run daily and the home is less than 2km from the town of Perth. Current residents are both ambulant and non-ambulant and staff are trained in safe transfer practices (e.g. sling and hoist).
This is an ideal setting for an individual with highly complex needs or alternatively for an individual who is independent but requires some assistance with daily living.
