Your Home, You’re Home on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula is where you’ll find a warm and cosy residence for three NDIS SIL clients. Newly renovated and nestled in the corner of a quiet court location, the property sits among a spacious garden with raised bed veggie patches and a covered alfresco area.

Parkland is found right next door – so very handy to take our gentle Cavoodle pupster, Johnny, for a good old sniff! Dog lovers will totally adore Johnny – he has an unbelievable funny character and puts a smile on everyone’s dial!

The bathroom will be shared and the toilet is separate for convenience. A further newly renovated bathroom to the master bedroom is provided for Support Staff, of which we have on-site 24/7.

Each of the residents’ bedrooms feature fitted robes, wall mounted Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount+ etc and remote-controlled adjustable massage single bed – only the absolute best for our VIP roomies!

We hope we haven’t made your private rooms TOO comfortable that you won’t want to leave though – because we are a fun-loving bunch and will love spending time with everyone. We are looking for housemates whose personalities/hobbies/interests/ages etc can be factored into the residential matchmaking process – hence resulting in the harmony we promised you earlier in this read.

Your Home, You’re Home is keen to keep our roomies included in daily life activities and routines and are welcoming NDIS participants with SIL 1: 3 ratios in their plans. From growing our own veggies, to preparing them, to cooking them, to eating them… hands-on teamwork is definitely our vibe. Roomies will get to meal plan their food choices together on a weekly basis and ingredient shopping will be done together wherever possible.

So what is there around us?

Hastings is an awesome and friendly little fishing town on the Mornington Peninsula and is famous for its resident pelicans who live down at the Pier. The house is a five-minute car ride to the train station (will get you to Frankston with its shopping centre) and then change for all other destinations) and buses run frequently. Frankston Hospital is a 25 minute car journey and there are numerous medical practices (one with a dentist), physiotherapist practices, podiatry services, cafés, restaurants, nail shops, op shops and all three of the big supermarkets. There is also a Kmart, a Reject Shop and just HEAPS of dining options – from chicken and chips to curry and kebabs! Every part of the world is covered by our fabulous High Street eateries!

Hastings Foreshore is home to the Pelican Park gym and aquatic centre that runs regular classes for inclusive fitness and frivolity and every Friday morning, from the car park here, the local catch is being sold from the well-known chiller van – this is where Catch of the Day becomes Dinner of the Night (but only if you like fish! )
