The residents participate in supported employment and day services during the week. When they're at home they generally prefer to keep to themselves and promoting a quiet environment. They enjoy spending time in the gardening, watching tv, and creating artwork.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) Provider
The house is staffed seven days a week under a Sleep Over model of care by supported independent living provider Scope Disability Services. Their highly trained disability support workers deliver a high level of support across multiple disabilities. They are trained in supporting participants to access and engage in the local community at a one-to-one level or within a group setting. They have capacity to implement restrictive practices where required (in line with legislation and best practice), behaviour support, epilepsy & diabetes and mealtime management
