Yooralla’s Young Onset Dementia service is an NDIS funded service that provides specialist accommodation and tailored 24-hour support for people with young onset dementia (under the age of 65 years).

Located in Box Hill in Melbourne’s East, support is provided by trained staff who specialise in young onset dementia care. Support is provided 24-hour a day, seven days a week, with active night support.

This spacious property is located in the heart of Box Hill, just a short walk from local shops, cafes, and restaurants at Box Hill Central. With access to public transport, parks, and healthcare services, including Box Hill Hospital, this home provides both convenience and a quiet retreat in a suburban setting.

Yooralla’s Young Onset Dementia Service can support you if you have Supported Independent Living (SIL) funding in your NDIS plan, and you are a person under 65 years old with young onset dementia. Although this home was enrolled as SDA in the past, it is currently not enrolled as SDA.

There is active night model of support in the home with staff on-site as needed. Staff are highly trained to support people with young onset dementia.

You must be 18+ years old to be eligible for this vacancy. The applicant will need to be able to pay rent and utilities. The applicant or their important person will need to establish a Residential Agreement.
